The Taft Initiative, an organization that helps restaurants (our partner establishments) along Taft Avenue. We create projects such as fundraisers and donation drives that benefit our partner establishments, and other stakeholders such as volunteer riders and street dwellers in Taft Avenue.

With the upcoming celebration of the 1 year anniversary of our organization, The Taft Initiative has decided to create a fundraising campaign entitled Tahanan  that will aim to transcend communities and expand our reach towards helping those beyond Taft Avenue, more specifically our chosen beneficiary of Hospicio de San Jose - the oldest charitable institution in the Philippines and one that aims to address the inequalities brought upon by society by helping the poor and marginalized through providing residential and non-residential services. This campaign aims to raise Php 100,000 in total, wherein 75% will be given to our beneficiary in order for them to create housing units for displaced families, while 25% will be used to fund The Taft Initiative’s future projects such as monthly community pantries and helping sustain our partner establishments through the purchase of hot meals and distributing them to volunteers and street dwellers within the community.
